Second week

This week I found it to be very much the same. I think that we where all still getting a feeling of the class and of each other. But I also felt that by looking at articles I came to find what website worked better then others and that you need to check your information with different sources to make sure you can use it. As we started talking about the Rwanda genocide it almost like a rude awaking. My question was "where did the term Genocide come from?" So I looked up Genocide in google and looked up in wikipedia what it defined as "genocide." As I read what has happened in the past such as a Holocaust, which is the most famous form of genocide, it was like a slap in the face as to how easy are lives actually are. It made me feel guilty for every time I complained that my life was horrible or so hard. I don't think any of use really have an idea of what a hard life is. This also brings on a strong feelings of helplessness that these kind of acts are still going on in our world. I can't understand how some one would willingly do these acts but I guess we are all victims of circumstance.

So I thought this week was still about setting a base for all three class but it began to pick up the pace.
